Battle Point Astronomical Association

Battle Point Astronomical Association provides its members and the community with a view of the Universe we live in. Bainbridge Public Library

The Bainbridge Island Library is a unique public/private partnership. The library building and grounds are owned by the people of Bainbridge Island, managed by a volunteer Board of Directors (Bainbridge Public Library), and funded solely by private donations. The BPL Board also produces programs such as Field’s End Writers Roundtables and Speakers Forums. Staff, technology, books and materials, and administration are provided by the Kitsap Regional Library system and funded by property tax dollars. The Bainbridge Island Library is a branch of the Kitsap Regional Library.

Kitsap Adult Center for Education

Kitsap Adult Center for Education (KACE) is a community based, nonprofit agency whose mission is to provide adult educational opportunities that will improve the lives of students and the community. KACE helps adults improve their reading, writing and math, learn English as a Second Language (ESL) and prepare for the GED exam in a supportive, nonjudgmental setting. Our goal is to enable our students to participate in their community, increase their capacity to be self-sufficient, break the cycle of low literacy in their families, and/or meet their educational or vocational goals.
