Bainbridge Community Foundation is now accepting applications to our 2019 Community Grant Cycle (CGC) until March 20, 2019, at 5:00PM.
The foundation welcomes proposals from 501(c)(3) nonprofits located in Washington State that serve Bainbridge Islanders.
Grant requests that directly benefit the community, help a great number of people or underserved populations, and have measurable outcomes are encouraged. Grants can be used to support nonprofit programs and projects, capital projects, access to services, or operational expenses. Requests from $1,000 to $10,000 will be considered.
As a community foundation, our mission is to help sustain all sectors of the nonprofit community. Grants are made to the following causes: animal welfare, arts and culture, education, environment, health and human services, housing, public benefit, recreation, and science and technology.
In 2018, BCF awarded $273,535 in funding to 49 nonprofits serving Bainbridge Islanders. The foundation looks forward to helping local nonprofits meet our community’s needs through this year’s grantmaking.
All applications are made online via Common Grant Application. You will be able to register, begin the application, save, and resume your application prior to final submission of your request.
