November 1, 2018 – LeadHERship: Powerful Stories of Philanthropic Women @ Wing Point from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Women have had an indelible impact on the face of our communities both nationally and here on Bainbridge Island. Women typically drive the philanthropic decisions in families and tend to give more than men. What’s more, in the coming decades, the amount of wealth controlled by women will outpace that of men. This panel discussion featuring Beth McCaw of Washington Womens Foundation, Jamie Bechtel of New Course, and facilitated by Sarah Hopper of Sound Philanthropy will explore the role that women have played in the past and set the stage for their future role in unifying and building community.
